Service fees
Payments for the services of the Healthcare Institution of North Iceland are determined by the Ministry of Health in regulations and by the HSN Executive board for other services than healthcare.
Service fees vary depending on health insurance.
Health care service fees
Come to the health center to see doctors, nurses, psychologists and physiotherapists during daytime hours from 8-16:00

Service fee list for speech therapy and conditions for co-payment by Sjúkratrygging for speech therapy is that there is a written request from the doctor and prior approval for co-payment from Sjúkratryggingum Íslands.
Health insurance pays 90% of the total fee upon presentation of a request for physical therapy. Physiotherapy can be provided to insured persons without request, a maximum of 6 times a year (applies only to trainers who have a contract with SÍ).

For the following certificates, the amount of time it takes a doctor to make the certificate should be taken into account and ISK 6,098 must be paid for each started 20 minutes.

For the following certificates, at least an hour work of a doctor ISK 16,540 and then ISK 5,513 must be paid for each started 20 minutes.
Certificates to lawyers and insurance companies for illnesses or accidents, to insurance companies for life and sickness insurance or applications for disability benefits or adoption, to the police, magistrates
Certificate for residence and/or work permits in this country and residence or work abroad
Detailed certificate of a person's health due to the request of a third party (school, employer, seaman's certificate)
Payments for certificates do not go to the discount fund.
In addition to arrival fees, health insured persons pay for vaccinations at the health center (per dose) according to the service fees that is updated monthly. Payments for vaccines do not go into the rebate fund.
This part of the tariff is updated monthly, within three working days from the end of the month.

Vaccination for seasonal influenza is free of charge for those in the specified risk groups.
Regular vaccinations are not paid for in children's health care.

Fees for a medical certificate must be based on how long it takes a doctor to make the certificate, and ISK 8,563 must be paid. for each started 20 minutes.
6,098 ISK must be paid for each visit to a laboratory for examination and for the examination of a sample sent for examination in a laboratory. and an additional 100% of the agreed or determined total price upon arrival.

For the necessary interpreting services, the patient must pay the full fee according to the Government Purchase service provider's contract for interpreting services.
