The announced doctors' strike will affect HSN services

Members of the Icelandic Medical Association have agreed to a strike call. If no agreement is reached, the physicians' strike will begin at midnight on Monday, November 25th.
The first week of the strike will be Monday 25 November to Thursday 28 November from midnight ( 00:00) to 12:00 noon (12:00).
The next week, Tuesday 3 December and Thursday 5 December, will be the day of strikes, from midnight ( 00:00) to noon (12:00) each day.
The third week of the strike will be Monday 9 December to Thursday 12 December from midnight ( 00:00) to 12:00 noon on the same day (12:00).
The fourth week will be a strike Monday 16 December and Wednesday 18 December from midnight ( 00:00) to 12:00 noon (12 hrs.) each day.
Strikes will be suspended from noon on 18 December until midnight on 6 January.
During strike hours, emergency services will be provided at all HSN facilities, but other medical services can be expected to be disrupted. Therefore, HSN clients are asked to monitor the morning of strike days whether a strike is underway and can then expect cancellation for the time booked.
