Hrafnhildur is well known to us, as she has been working at HSN since 2018, first as a nurse in infant care and as the acting head of the infant care department. At the turn of the year 2023-2024, she temporarily took over as the head of the combined maternity and infant care department, and subsequently, she was permanently appointed as the head of the same department. Previously, Hrafnhildur worked as a nurse at the Hospital in Akureyri.

Hrafnhildur holds a B.Sc. degree in nursing from the University of Akureyri and has completed two years of studies in occupational therapy at the same school. Hrafnhildur lives in Akureyri with her husband and three daughters.
