Annual vaccinations begin in October

25th September 2024

Annual vaccinations against influenza and Covid-19 begin at HSN in October.

Vaccinations HSN

Vaccinations against influenza and Covid-19 will be offered for individuals 60 years of age and older and for people at risk in all HSN healthcare centres in October.

For more information on vaccinations and dates at each healthcare center, see this link: Influenza and Covid 19 vaccinations

The Chief Epidemiologist recommends that the following risk groups should be given priority during influenza vaccinations:

  • All individuals 60 years and older.

  • All children born 1.1.2020–30.6.2024, who have reached 6 months of age when vaccinated.

  • All children and adults who suffer from chronic heart, lung, kidney and liver disease, obesity, diabetes, malignancies and other immunosuppressive diseases.

  • Pregnant women.

  • Healthcare professionals who care for individuals in risk groups listed above.

Vaccination for people 60 years and older and at risk is free of charge.

Both vaccines will be offered during the same visit. It will also be possible to choose to receive either an influenza or Covid-19 vaccination.
