The donation was followed by chairman of Framsýn Aðalsteinn Árni Baldursson, who presented the gift at a ceremony on September 17th. The equipment consists of a full-fledged heart microscope, a walk-board, a shower chair-set mattress, a chair-vogar, an ear-scan, a pregnancy monitor, a D-dimer instrument and a fluid pump. The support of associations is important to the institution and the most important is the purchase of a heart microscope which allows HSN to have a part-time cardiologist at the institution. Cardiologist Sigurður Hjörtur Kristjánsson began working at HSN Húsavík in early 2023.

Daníel Borgþórsson, chairman of the HSN sponsoring association, and Bergur Elías Ágústsson, chairman of the Hvammur Residential Home, thanked Framsýn for the donation. Doctors and other nursing staff were also happy with the donation and made the guests aware of the usefulness of the devices, was led by Ásgeir Böðvarsson, chief physician at the hospital. They showed great gratitude with the kindness of Framsýn towards Hvammur and HSN.

Gifts like these support the organization's important work, and HSN is extremely grateful to Framsýn and the HSN sponsoring association.
