Vaccination for influenza 2025

Vaccination will begin later this month and age-related priority groups will receive a message through Heilsuvera, while individuals in other priority groups will need to contact their health center to book an appointment from October 15.
Priority groups include:
All individuals 60 years of age and older
Children born in 2020 or later who have reached the age of 6 months at the time of vaccination
All children and adults suffering from chronic heart, lung, kidney and liver diseases, diabetes, obesity, malignant diseases and other immunosuppressive diseases
Pregnant women
Healthcare workers caring for individuals in the risk groups listed above
People at occupational risk due to co-infection with annual influenza and avian influenza
Individuals outside of priority groups can book an appointment for influenza vaccination from November 13.
