Join the survey for the opening of the Concert Hall - Mental Health and Activity Centre in East Iceland!

This survey is part of the preparation for the opening of a mental health and activity center in East Iceland, which is known as Samkomuhús. The project is a collaboration between Austurbrú, the Healthcare Institution of East Iceland, the Vocational Rehabilitation Centre of East Iceland and the social services of Fjarðabyggð and Múlaþing, and was created for a grant from Alcoa Foundation.
The plan is to start pilot activities in the autumn of 2025 in two locations, Egilsstaðir and Reyðarfjörður. To meet the needs of those who are interested and need to use such a resource, it is necessary to get input and ideas that increase the chances of success. We want to get answers from the people of East Iceland and especially those who plan to use the resource. In the preparation phase, we will also discuss with likely users by putting together 6-8 people focus groups in Fjarðabyggð and in Múlaþing. Those interested in participating in such a conversation may contact the project manager at Austurbrú or their contact point at the project partners. The responses will be processed as a single set and no answers will be attributed to individuals. Response takes an average of 2-5 minutes.
