The Icelandic Centre for Disease Control and Prevention has completed the tracing of those exposed to tuberculosis infection earlier this winter. After an assessment of the inner circle of disease cases, it was decided to expand the combing examination in accordance with the published recommendations of the Chief Epidemiologist.

The tracing took place to forty individuals and it was extremely successful. After the research the situation is assessed so that the disease control has been able to prevent infection from spreading and the tracing is therefore completed.
