Home care
The East Iceland Health Institute provides home care in East Iceland. Home care is for people who need health care at home. The service is individualized and takes into account the health, circumstances and needs of each individual.
A nurse determines what services the individual needs and organizes them in consultation with the individual and their family.
Home care does not involve staff being constantly in the home. Visits and services depend on the needs of each individual.
The role of home care is to provide each individual with the care and support they need.
