Inspections by GEV's initative
Quality and Supervisory Authority of Welfare (GEV) monitors the quality of services. The monitoring may be regular, based on risk assessment or due to a specific reason, indications or information received by the institution regarding complaints.
The process of inspections by GEV's initiative begins with obtaining all information and data that are considered necessary for the Authority's supervision.
GEV sends a notification to service providers about the initiation of an initiative control.
Meets with service providers.
Data collection is carried out, e.g. by field observations, interviews, questionnaire or other methods that are considered best suited to each time. Emphasis is placed on that users of services get the opportunity to express their views.
Data analysis and reporting.
Issuing a report or extracts from it. If necessary, the institution will make recommendations for improvements to be made within a certain time.
