Literacy conference on Saturday 14 September

The conference is now being shortened to an extremely interesting literacy conference at the Centre for Education and the Centre for School Development at the University of Iceland, which will take place on Saturday 14 September.
The conference is titled What is it to be literate? and is aimed at teachers and other professionals in pre-, primary and secondary schools. The conference will discuss what it is to be literate and how to create the best conditions to support good literacy of children and young people. The conference will be especially focused on the practical value of the conference's message for teachers and school work.
You can find all the information about the main courses, seminars and workshops , but of course it’s best to take a trip north and enjoy the day with other people interested in reading.
