Visit to the Akranes Regional Archive
The National Archives visited Erla Dís Sigurjónsdóttir, the District Archivist and Director of the Akranes Archives, on 7 November.
The municipal photography museum and its art collection are also covered by the district archives. The meeting was also attended by Bjarni Þórðarson, the Property Manager of the National Archives. The museum’s premises were reviewed, storage facilities examined and discussed various issues related to the district archives and the working environment of public archives in the country.
