The history of Icelandic Sign Language

On the occasion of the Icelandic Sign Language Day, the Communication Centre will publish a lecture by Júlíu G. Hreinsdóttir, the director of professional teaching. The lecture deals with Juliet's M.Ed. project in pedagogy and school work, which was partly done at the Centre for Communication. The thesis is about the reasons for and effects of legal recognition of Icelandic Sign Language.
