The East Iceland Health Institute receives recognition from the Balance Scale for the fourth time
The East Iceland Health Institute (HSA) has received the Balance Scale award for the fourth time, which is awarded to companies, municipalities and public institutions that have achieved the project's goal of equal gender ratios in executive or top management positions.
The HSA board of directors currently consists of three women and two men, reflecting the organization's balanced and focused policy on gender equality.
The Gender Balance is a driving force project of the Icelandic Women's Association (FKA) in collaboration with numerous stakeholders. The project aims to promote increased gender balance in positions of influence and encourage targeted decision-making in favor of gender equality. The assessment is based on the Gender Balance's goal of a 40/60 gender ratio in top management positions.
HSA is proud to be part of this powerful group that works towards real equality in the Icelandic labor market and wholeheartedly supports the project's motto: "Equality is a decision."
