Starfatorg is transferred to Iceland.is

The website Starfatorg.is has moved from the of the Government site to Ísland.is. The website advertises available jobs within government institutions and ministries.

Starfatorg.is has been in operation for over 20 years, or since 2002, and the website has always had heavy traffic with around 2,000 job advertisements a year, most of them in the fields of health and education.

Recently, the work to transfer of the job forum to Ísland.is has the aim of taking even further steps in improving the flow of information as well as digital services of the public sector to the public. The Ísland.is website is growing rapidly as a public service website with a strong focus on good presentation and acessablity to services and information.

The Financial Management Authority oversees Starfatorg. Agencies and ministries can place advertisements on the job center through Orra's recruitment system. The Division of Human Resources and Wage Management provides assistance with the publication of job advertisements on the job center and can be contacted through the Financial Management Authorities service portal.
