Sign Language Children’s Summer Festival.

The summer festival for sign language children was held on Saturday, May 9, and it exceeded all expectations! The atmosphere was truly special, and joy radiated from every face 💛

The Parents and Support Association of Deaf Children offered hot dogs and juice, while the Association of the Deaf delighted guests with popsicles and hot cocoa — truly a feast for everyone!

Uldis and Eyrún from the Communication Centre led the program with outstanding skill, while Uldis and Arno from Sólborg organized games and kept the energy high and the flow smooth throughout.

The Icelandic emergency line 112 also brought joy to the children by giving them buffs and reflective items.

The festival is a collaborative project between the Communication Centre for the Deaf and Hard of Hearing, the Parents and Support Association of Deaf Children, the Association of the Deaf, and the Sólborg preschool.

We thank everyone who attended, participated, and contributed to making the day so memorable. Moments like these truly matter!
