Relocation of day and outpatient services at the SAk psychiatric department

Access is through the same entrance previously used for primary healthcare services, whether from the pedestrian street or from Gilsbakkavegur above.The services being relocated include most day services, which serve both inpatients and outpatients, as well as part of the outpatient services.The relocation will have temporary effects on services.

No day services will be provided for inpatients this coming Friday, but they will resume on Monday, April 13, with a revised schedule in the new location.

Most patients receiving outpatient day services have already been invited to appointments next week at the new premises. A new schedule for day services will begin on Monday, April 20.

The Björg coping skills group will also resume at the new location on Monday, April 13.Patients with scheduled outpatient appointments will receive information regarding any changes to the location of their appointments as applicable. We place strong emphasis on making the relocation as smooth as possible and look forward to welcoming patients to Hafnarstræti.
