Digital Iceland continues to develop and improve digital solutions with regular updates on both core services and individual digital services. With the latest update we introduce both new functionality and additions and fixes aimed at increasing security, improving user experience and simplifying service processes for both individuals and companies.

Below we will review the main changes and innovations in this edition, both regarding the core services of Digital Iceland and specific projects.

  • Remove unnecessary useNamespaces

  • Refactor for presidential and parliamentary Mínar Siður as well as adding new screens for Municipal collection

  • Update payment plan table UI

  • Remove v1 from project. Rename v2 as root and remove everywhere.

    • Added second guardian for heir under 18 years

  • Inheritance report

    • Fixed mappers for numerical values represented in string format.

    • Tweak allowing for 0,5 heir percentage

  • Application for parental leave

    • Other parent logic update. To approve periods 3 months back. Some bug fixes.

  • Application for a driving licence

    • Submission tweak for 65+ for successful submission on dev

  • Application for secondary school

    • Implementing new endpoint to fetch guardian data from Þjóðskrá

  • Application for teaching rights on work machine

    • Changes to application after testing including new approval process

  • Vehicle Recycling

    • Add mileage check and validation. Prevent lower mileage registration.

  • Application for operating licence

    • Refactored schema validations in order to better validate and represent errors for timeranges regarding alcohol licenses.

    • Create and load OJOI subpages dynamically
