Opportunities for technical auditors

Vehicle inspections are carried out by certified inspection agencies in Iceland. The Icelandic Intellectual Property Office handles all types of accreditations, including those at vehicle inspection offices.

The Intellectual Property Office conducts audits of inspection agencies and assesses their performance. In these audits, technical auditors play a large role. Now the Intellectual Property Office has advertised for an auditor. The person who will be hired will receive training to acquire competence in auditing. The training includes both courses and mentoring.

The Icelandic Transport Authority encourages those who are qualified and interested in working as inspectors to apply, especially those who have previously worked as inspectors.
