Opening hours of HSN clinics during the holidays

All HSN health care centers have regular opening hours December 29th and 30th. Clinics are open until 12 noon on December 24th and 31st except for HSN Akureyri, where opening hours are from 10-14. See clinic locations for opening hours.

HSN Akureyri is open for emergency service on December 24th-26th and on December 31st-January 1st. There are no prescription renewals or general appointment booking.

Appointments must be booked before arrival by calling 1700.

Other health care centers are closed from 12 on December 24th and until 26th and from 12 on December 31st until January 1st.

Please call 1700 for advice regarding acute illnesses and injuries during Christmas and New Year.

In emergencies, people are advised to call 112.
