New Opportunities in the Digital Europe Programme – Artificial Intelligence and Digital Solutions!

The European Union has opened applications for the Digital Europe Programme. The programme supports projects related to artificial intelligence, digital solutions, and data infrastructures.

This is an excellent opportunity for small and medium-sized enterprises, institutions, and some types of researchers to participate in ambitious projects in the field of digital development.

Healthcare Technology:

  1. AI solutions for medical imaging 
    DIGITAL-2026-AI-09-SOLUTIONS-CANCER-STEP 
    Multifaceted AI solutions to support cancer diagnosis and treatment.

  2. Building data infrastructures for health data 
    DIGITAL-2026-AI-09-DS-HEALTH-TOOL
    Projects that enhance tools for data processing and services for European health data.

  3. Data infrastructures for health data – storage and processing 
    DIGITAL-2026-AI-09-DS-HEALTH-STORAGE 
    Solutions that increase capacity for secure data storage and processing.

Public Administration and Virtual Worlds:

  1. GenAI for public administration 
    DIGITAL-2026-AI-09-GENAI-PA 
    Solutions leveraging AI to improve services and processes in public administration.

  2. Testbeds for virtual worlds 
    DIGITAL-2026-AI-09-VIRTUAL-TESTBEDS-STEP 
    Development and testing of new virtual worlds and related technologies.

Automation and Vehicles:

  1. Collaboration platform for connected and autonomous vehicles of the future 
    DIGITAL-2026-AI-09-AUTOMOTIVE 
    Development and strengthening of a collaboration platform for autonomous vehicles and rapid deployment of safe and smart mobility solutions in Europe.

  2. Office for the European Connected and Autonomous Vehicle Alliance 
    DIGITAL-2026-AI-09-ECAVA 
    Establishing an office for the ECAVA alliance to support coordination, policy-making, and collaboration on connected and autonomous vehicle technologies in Europe.

Media:

  1. European Digital Media Observatory Hubs 
    DIGITAL-2026-BESTUSE-TECH-EDMO-09-HUBS 
    Creation and operation of regional hubs to promote the use of digital technology and combat disinformation through the European Digital Media Observatory (EDMO).

Industry and Manufacturing:

  1. AI solutions for manufacturing 
    DIGITAL-2026-DSM-AI-09-DS-MANUFACTUR-STEP 
    Projects developing and testing AI solutions to improve manufacturing processes and enhance sustainability.
