New head physician of orthopedic surgery
In the spring 2023, Elísabet Björgvinsdóttir was appointed the new head physician of orthopedic surgery at the Akureyri Hospital.
Elisabeth has worked at SAk since 2021, but previously worked as an orthopedic surgeon in Sweden in the years 2011-2021 and as a specialist since 2018.
