Newsletter December 2021

Holiday greetings and a summary of new projects and ongoing projects in December 2021.

Happy Holidays!

An eventful year is coming to an end but in spite of that, we are still releasing big and small projects that simplify the lives of people. Changes are happening very fast, so it is important to take time and review the work done in the last few months. In our next newsletter, we will review the biggest projects of 2021, but in this one, we will share a fraction of the projects that have been published in the past few weeks. There are many different tasks and the level of visibility varies, but all are important for improving public digital services.

Parental leave in Iceland.is

A digital application for parental leave is available on Iceland.is. Over one hundred people have now participated in user testing. The application automatically accesses various government systems, paving the way for a number of other complex application processes.

Real estate at Iceland.is

Developments in My pages in Iceland are underway with the aim of simplifying people's lives and improving digital access to public services. Real estate is the latest addition that gives property owners access to information about their own real estate.
