Dutch guests at SHH

On April 22nd, 6 Dutch from Kentalis College Utrecht visited us at SHH. They work with deaf and hard of hearing children and young people aged 6-18 years. They came to find out about the services that children receive in Iceland and visited numerous institutions for this occasion. Here at SHH, Árný Guðmundsdóttir and Eyrún Helga Aradóttir welcomed the group, and introduced the services that are available at the institution with emphasis on children and the sign language environment. They were absolutely impressed with Táknmálseyjan and the ideology that is used in connection with this project.
