Day of the Hospital in Glass Square on Saturday 14 to 16
Hollvinir - Beneficiaries of Akureyri Hospital together with the hospital staff are organizing a celebration at Glerártorg on Saturday, November 25th. between 14:00 and 16:00. Such a celebration at Glerártorg has been an annual event since the foundation association 10 years ago, but was canceled in 2020 and 2021 due to the COVID-19 epidemic.
Hospital staff are offering to measure blood pressure, oxygen saturation and pulse rate. Members of Hollvinir will present the association and register new members. Children are offered to bring their favourite toy for medical examination.
Public welfare association
Hollvinir is a public welfare association and donations to the association are deductible from the tax base of the donors, whether they are companies or individuals. The annual fee is 6,000 ISK and it is the basis on which Hollvinir SAk builds its activities. It proves the old saying that many small things make one big thing. Hollvinir are now well over three thousand, but the goal is to increase their number significantly in the coming months.
Hollvinir SAk encourage as many people as possible to make their way to Glerártorg on Saturday and take an active part in the program.
