Around 150 people attended HSN's first Science and Education Day!
We are absolutely delighted with the excellent turnout at HSN’s first Science and Education Day, which was held yesterday. Around 150 people attended in person, and an additional 30 joined via livestream.

It is clear that such a forum truly has a place within the range of professional and academic events in healthcare, and it is especially gratifying to be able to host a day like this here in the north.

The aim of the day was to create a platform where healthcare staff and students could learn about the latest research, solutions, and projects being carried out by HSN staff through their studies and professional work. Eleven presentations were delivered, along with a panel discussion on technology and healthcare.

Within HSN, a great deal of diverse development work is underway, aimed at strengthening operations and improving services for patients. A day like this creates an important space for innovation, research, and knowledge sharing. It is essential that staff have the opportunity to present their projects, research, and development work to colleagues, students, and other interested parties.Attached is a photo series from the day.Photos: Þórhallur Jónsson
