The reports present a quality review based on the quality indicators selected by the Directorate of Health following the implementation of the current cancer screening programme. This is the fifth publication of the quality review. Among other things, the reports provide information on participation in cervical and breast cancer screening nationwide in 2025. They also discuss response times, research results, screening outcomes, and the incidence and mortality rates associated with these cancers.

The main findings indicate that participation in breast cancer screening has risen significantly over the years, reaching 65% in 2025. Over the past three years, participation has increased by 13 percentage points. However, participation remains below the target benchmark of 75%.

Participation in cervical cancer screening also increased, with approximately 70% of women taking part. This represents a six-percentage-point increase compared with the previous year.
