The Health Care Institution of South Iceland moves its website to Ísland.is
New HSU website
Now the Health Care Institution of South Iceland has joined the public institutions that have moved their website to Ísland.is. The transition was done in cooperation with Stafrænt Ísland, which works to support government institutions on their digital journey. In creating the new website, the content was revised and updated with the aim of keeping information as accessible as possible. Emphasis was placed on getting processes into digital form, using technology and increasing access to digital communication. The webpage will continue to evolve and we ask you to give comments about things that needs to be better.

A new website is an important part of the digital journey that HSU is on and is very important when it comes to communicating information to our clients. Our work area is heavily translated, from Hellisheiði in the west to Hafnar in the east, and our goal is to be a leading healthcare institution in the countryside, with an emphasis on telehealth services and digital communications, among other things. A new website is in line with our goals and we believe that a coordinated set-up will facilitate access to information even further.
