Auxiliary equipment commissioning courses
On Tuesday 14 February 2023, at 8:30 am a course will be held in the provision of assistive devices on a mandated basis.
The course is aimed at occupational therapists, physiotherapists and other healthcare professionals with university education who are involved in assistive technology counselling and applications/allocation of assistive devices.
Health insurance is constantly working on improvements with the aim of improving services for users of assistive devices. One aspect of this is to simplify and shorten the application process by empowering professionals to allocate simpler aids directly, without the involvement of health insurance staff, which is comparable to the arrangements applied in many Nordic countries. This will help reduce the waiting time for users for simple necessary aids even further. We have called this agency provision.
To access assignments through agency, you must be present at/present at a short course through TEAMS. The course lasts approximately two hours.
