National aviation licences

Icelandic national licences are issued under the Regulation on licences based on the standards of the International Civil Aviation Organisation (ICAO Annex 1). The following national certificates shall be issued by the Icelandic Transport Agency:

• Ultralight Pilot Licence

• Aircraft engineer licence

• Airline dispatcher licence

These licences are only valid for working with or operating aircraft registered in Iceland.
