    Support for implementation of the children's prosperity law

    The children's prosperity department of the National Agency for Children and Families

    The National Agency for Children and Families (BOFS) is the leading party in implementing the children's prosperity law. The role of BOFS is to coordinate work methods and support dialogue between different parties from different institutions, all of which have the same goal of providing services to children. According to the children's prosperity law, the tasks of BOFS in integrating services in the interest of children’s well-being include:

    1. Support for the integration of services for the well-being of children, including the publication of guidelines, checklists and other supporting material on integration for those who provide services for the well-being of children, as well as the publication of standardized forms and information to the users of the service.

    2. Regular education on integration of services for children's prosperity to those involved in integration.

    3. Counseling for contact persons, case managers and support teams, including assistance in the processing of individual cases.

    4. Determining the purpose and methods of processing personal data on the basis of Article 15 and Chapter V.

    5. Other projects that serve the goals of the Welfare Act as determined by the Minister.
