Interest diving

Interest diving, is when the diving is not a part of an economic or service activity.

amateur divers must meet the requirements for their education and competence and hold a valid licence in the case of amateur diving.

Icelandic amateur divers certificates are issued by the Icelandic Transport Agency and they are both in Icelandic and English.

Requirements for amateur diving

• Been 17 years old.

• Satisfactorily meet health requirements.

• Meeting the qualifications and requirements.

• Have a valid hobby diving certificate issued by the Icelandic Transportation Authority.
