Returning goods to a foreign seller
If you return goods that were ordered online, you may be entitled to a refund, reduction or cancellation of import charges.
Cases where you can apply for a refund of import charges
Goods not collected
If the goods are returned because the recipient could not be reached or refused to accept the delivery.Unused goods returned
If the goods have been collected and then returned unused to the sender.Defective goods
If the goods are faulty and returned unused to the seller. This also applies if the defect is discovered after use. If a replacement item is sent under warranty, you may need to pay import charges again on the new item.
When claiming a refund for returned goods, you may need to provide:
Proof of return shipping (such as a receipt) or a tracking number
Evidence of the reason for return, for example communication between you and the seller
