Social Insurance Administration: Changes to disability and rehabilitation payments
How will age add-on be in the new system?
Age supplement is paid to those who received their first disability or rehabilitation assessment between the ages of 18 and 43.
The full age supplement is 31,290 krona per month or 375,480 krona per year.
The amount of the age supplement decreases by 5% for each year after the age of 24, and the age supplement is not paid if the applicant first met the conditions at the age of 44 or later.
Example: An individual receives an integrated specialist assessment of 26-50% capacity for activity in the labor market at the age of 25. The age supplement will be 95% of the full amount, and they will keep that amount until the age of 67.
The age supplement is income-linked, and the combined amount of pension, household supplement, and age supplement, if applicable, decreases by 45% of the pensioner's income above the tax-free limit, until it is discontinued. Insert table as per easy-to-read format.
