Can I travel abroad while I am waiting to receive an answer to my residence permit application?
The Directorate of Immigration does not recommend that you travel abroad while your application is being processed. Travelling abroad is entirely your responsibility. If you have problems at the border and do not have a valid residence permit, the Directorate of Immigration cannot do anything, unfortunately.
