Childcare allowance for chronically ill or disabled children

A care card is issued when an assessment of care is approved, it can be found in PDF format on My pages under My documents.

The card shows that the child in question has an assessment of care and is therefore entitled to subsidies for medical services and medicine purchases.

When a child has a care assessment, doctors and pharmacies have access to that information through the health insurance system, so that there is no need to present the card with those parties to receive a subsidiary.

Municipalities and various companies offer discounts on goods and services after the card is presented.
