Suggestions and comments

A draft for a boundary plan is sent electronically to a landowner's inbox through Ísland.is. Landowners and other stakeholders can make suggestions and send comments. This could be a location of place names, or submitting documents that were previously unavailable, along with comments based on those documents.

Deadline for sending comments for a boundary plan draft is 6 weeks from the announcement.

Necessary data

Information and data that are sent with a comment:

• information about the individual sending the comment

• general information about the land in question

• explanation of the comment

• relevant data to back up the comment

HMS takes comments under consideration. However, HMS does not respond to individual comments.
