Duty-free goods for crew of aircraft and ships

When arriving in Iceland as a member of a ship or aircraft crew, you must declare any goods you are carrying.

Electronic declaration

You can register your declaration before arrival:

• Log in at rautthlid.is using electronic ID

• Select Crew and indicate whether you intend to use your duty-free allowance on your next trip

If you are carrying goods exceeding the allowance or goods that require a special declaration, you must declare them upon arrival.

You can cancel your registration as long as the scheduled arrival time has not passed. If you change your purchases in the duty-free shop after submitting your declaration, you can update your registration.

Without electronic ID

If you do not have electronic ID, you can complete a paper form instead.
