Submission of Annual Financial Statements – Religious and Life-Stance Organisations

As of 1 January 2025, religious and life-stance organisations are required to submit their annual financial statements to the District Commissioner. Submission may be made by email to truoglif@syslumenn.is.

Annual financial statements for the year 2024 as well as older annual financial statements may be submitted to this email address.

Annual financial statements for years prior to 2024 may be submitted at any time during the year. If annual financial statements for the year 2024 and subsequent years have not been submitted no later than 31 August 2025, an administrative fine shall be imposed on the entities that have failed to submit them, in accordance with the applicable legislation.
