Iceland Health wishes to provide information regarding the 8th amendment to Regulation No. 760/2021 on grants for the purchase of assistive devices.

At the Akureyri Hospital, increased specialized services in colorectal surgery have been developed in recent months. Two surgeons at the hospital, who have expertise in lower gastrointestinal surgery, have led this development alongside their general surgical practice.
