The Directorate of Immigration has received enquiries about the situation in Venezuela and how it affects Venezuelans situated in Iceland. The Directorate is monitoring the situation and will publish updated information if necessary.

A law on the granting of Icelandic citizenship has been passed by Alþingi.

Land and forest Iceland is calling for applications for grants to protect against land erosion caused by inland watercourses. The application deadline is 1 February 2025.
