The Icelandic National Planning Agency will hold a meeting on proposals for a coastal area plan for the Westfjords and Eastfjords, on Tuesday 9 August at 13:30. The meeting will take place in the building of the Icelandic National Planning Agency at Borgartún 7B and is open to all.

The Icelandic National Planning Agency will hold a meeting on proposals for a coastal area plan for the Westfjords and Eastfjords, on Tuesday 9 August at 13:30. The meeting will take place in the building of the Icelandic National Planning Agency at Borgartún 7B and is open to all.

Descriptions for the development of coastal area planning in the East Fjords and West Fjords were advertised on 7 May and also presented at open briefings streamed on the website of the Icelandic National Planning Agency. The regional councils have prepared a summary of written comments received during the briefings and the regional councils’ comments on them.

In June 2022, it was agreed to advertise proposals for a coastal area plan for the Westfjords and Eastfjords. The planning proposals and supporting documents were published on the website of the Icelandic National Planning Agency and the presentation period of both proposals was from June 15 th to September 15 th.

The Directorate of Health will be closed from 12:00, Wednesday 20 November.

ISAC's operations were peer evaluated by EA (European co-operation for Accreditation) on 17-21 June. Such a peer evaluation is a prerequisite for the mutual recognition of accreditation and conformity assessment among the members of EA.
