Marín Guðrún Hrafnsdóttir, who is the head of the Icelandic Audio Library, has returned home after a stay at the Swedish audio library MTM (Myndigheten för tillgängliga medier).

The 15th of October is the Day of the White Star; the Day of Confrontation and Awareness for the Blind and Visually Impaired. The Day is international and its purpose is to raise awareness of the issues of the blind and visually impaired, especially accessibility and the barriers to access that prevent them from living independently and being socially active.

An innovation meeting on telehealth services and future solutions was held at Landspítali University Hospital on 17th May. Participants from all over the country participated.

The other day, a group accident drill was held in which responders from all over Northwest Iceland participated, but the drill was initiated by the local police.

Just before the new year, the Hollvina association donated three hospital beds to the HVE institution, two Eleganza II beds, along with a bedside trapeze/handle and Dynaform Mercury mattress and one Latera Therma bed as a rolling bed.
