A pharmacy license grants its holder the right to purchase medicines from wholesale license holders and to dispense medicines against prescriptions, through over-the-counter sales, to ship and aircraft medicine chests, and to institutions with which a special agreement has been made. A pharmacy license also allows for remote sales of medicines.
When planning to change the license holder of a pharmacy, it is necessary to submit an application for revocation of the current pharmacy license.
