Request for republication in the Medicine Price Catalogue

The Icelandic Medicines Agency has discontinued the practice of removing medicines from the medicine price list due to supply shortages. However, applications for republication must still be submitted in cases where medicines were previously removed from the price list due to shortages under earlier procedures.

To have information about a medicine reinstated in the medicine price list, it is necessary to complete the appropriate application form and submit it to the Icelandic Medicines Agency.

Applications for republication must be submitted no later than the 6th day of each month in order for the medicine to be included in the following medicine price list publication.
Example: An application must be submitted by 6 December if publication is intended for 1 January.
