Properties for sale
FSRE handles the sales process of properties owned by the public sector. Sale of, among other things, commercial properties, residential properties, farms, and land plots.
All real estate and land for sale are advertised in the media. You can follow the advertisements on Morgunblaðið's real estate website.
Bid on a property
The purchase offer must include the following to bid on a property. The purchase offer must contain the following information:
Identification numbers, email addresses, and phone numbers of the bidder
Bidder's insurance company
Property being bid on
Total offer price
Desired delivery date
Conditions set by the bidder, if any
The process
When an offer has been submitted, the submitter will receive confirmation on 'My Pages' at island.is. After the offer is submitted, it is valid for ten days and will be responded to within that time. FSRE reserves the right to request the signing of the offer at a later stage.
When an offer has been submitted, the contact person will receive a confirmation email at the email address provided. If the confirmation email is not received, please get in touch with FSRE at eignasala@fsre.is
