A spokesperson is appointed by the child protection services according to Article 46 of the Child Protection Act no. 80/2002. A spokesperson shall normally be appointed before measures are taken according to Articles 25, 27 or 28 of the Child Protection Act (caring of a child outside the home) and before a requirement for custody is made according to Article 29 of the Child Protection Act unless the child is assisted by a lawyer.

Applicant Applies for Authorisation to GEV and Returns Supporting Documents
GEV checks if the necessary information and data is included in the application
A request for comment is sent to the child protection services in the applicant’s home district.
GEV takes a decision on the issue of a permit and informs the applicant

Consent for the obtaining of criminal records from all members of the household aged 15 or older. The form must be printed and filled in
A medical certificate from a general practitioner certifying the physical and mental health of the applicant
