The senior electoral commissions of the constituencies hereby announce their counting stations and bases on election day.

Votes will be counted following the close of polls at Laugardalshöll in Reykjavík, Kaplakriki in Hafnarfjörður, Fjölbrautaskóli Suðurlands in Selfoss, Hjálmaklettur in Borgarnes, and Brekkuskóli in Akureyri. The counting of votes shall take place in public to afford voters the opportunity to be present, as far as space in the premises permits.

Reykjavík North and Reykjavík South Constituencies

The bases of the senior electoral commissions of the Reykjavík North and Reykjavík South constituencies on election day will be at Ráðhús Reykjavíkur. Following the close of polls, the commissions will relocate to Laugardalshöll, where the counting of votes will take place.

Following the close of polls at 22:00, the Senior Electoral Commission of the Northeast Constituency will convene at Brekkuskóli, Skólastígur, Akureyri, to begin the counting of votes. The telephone number at the counting station is 866-1474.
