Park card holders are not required to park in P-marked parking spaces and are encouraged to use public parking spaces when convenient. Parking card holders do not have to pay in taxable outdoor parking spaces, but parking in parking garages has to be paid for. The largest P-marked areas are primarily for lift truck users. Small car drivers are encouraged to park in smaller places when possible.
