Visiting from law students in constitutional law

Today, the Supreme Court received a visit from law students in constitutional law in their first year at the University of Iceland.
The course teacher Kári Hólmar Ragnarsson, lecturer, was with them. The students attended a hearing in case No. 44/2022: The Association of Mackerel Hunters v. The Icelandic State. President of the Supreme Court Benedikt Bogason and Judge Björg Thorarensen at the court welcomed the students before the hearing and introduced them to the operations of the court. Björg then summarized the case that was presented that morning.
